Subscription Fees = Help!

For as long as SE does not charge us the monthly fee I will be donating that money to charities to help the people of Japan. 14$ times all the people that play could go a long way to help. I ask everyone to consider doing this as it is money you won't miss.

Why do you need the free month of XI to decide to donate to something?

I think it's more of the fact that he/she is pointing out that since you aren't paying for the 1 month you can donate it to help the relief efforts in Japan.

Already donated and even if you can't afford a money donation, there are lots of local organizations starting up blanket/canned goods/nessecity drives all over the country. Even if its just a can of peas or a blanket thats been sitting in the back of the closet for years, people over there need it right now.

Make sure you always check the legitimacy of the organization you're donating to. The Red Cross is probably one of the best to donate to.

(When there aren't major disasters like this going on, I like to donate to Child's Play.)

Quite a few organizations I've already seen that are donating including Google, Redcross (obviously) and like 2 or 3 other places/companies (I didn't save the website but I know they were legit)

I've also already given what I could, gave what I'd normally pay for my FFXI account if I wasn't paying in USD.
