March Updates

question for the community:
do you think SE will push back the updates or actually implement them before bringing the servers back up when they are able?

I hope they will do them before they take server back on, but who knows...

Push them back imo. I doubt the game will be down only for a week.

I think they should do it while they are off, but atleast still tell us what updates they will be adding

I don't think they will do the update while the servers are down. Since they are doing the mergers at the same time that wouldn't give people time to remove valuables from the AH/delivery boxes. Talking tons of items getting wiped.

I dont see it being pushed back. THey can still be working on all of this even if the server's arnt live.

yeah you never know, they may have a generator and are working on updates right now! but then again maybe they would need to run that generator to reduce some stress on the power grid? you never know!

Lol this is true. I honestly think with teh amount of money and resources SE has they could just re-locate for awhile.

What update? lol. They only thing I remember being scheduled was the Server Merge for the 16th or something like that, but that was cancelled a while ago. The stuff in development on the official forums I thought was just in develpment with no set date.

Whenever the update was scheduled to take place, more than likely it's been pushed back. The likely-hood of any progress being made on any update while server is down is minimal let alone be able to applied while servers are down. They powered down the servers and most likely the majority of the offices that work is done, no one should be expecting any actual work to take place during the current situation. They have nuclear power plants that are in danger of melting down...last I checked it's more important to use the limited power from other sources to power emergency facilities and the such, not used to further the development of a video game, just saying.

They should at least post the update notes for us to look over during the off-week(s). Would give us all something to look forward to.

I think in light of the mini-updates, there will probably be only three major updates this year and every year following. With the earthquake and shutdown to conserve power, three major updates seem more likely anyhow.

I'm not looking forward to the traffic when the game comes back.
