Ok so for the last 2 days wiki.ffxiclopedia.org has been freezing up my browsers, (IE8 and Firefox). Seems like its been this way since they added the Rift advertisements. Anyone else seeing this issue???

Get noscript/Adblock, make an account on ffxiclopedia and in your settings change it to the normal one(forgot the name). I just solved your problems.
Im guessing it is the rift ad i cant get it to load on my older laptop but no problems on my newer desktop

Maybe I'll try that but i've never had an issue until they put this bs rift ad up.

yea it freezes my browser and every1 i know as well. garbage
That Rift background ad is very inappropriate for Wikia to run on the basis that it's very CPU intensive. It will just promote people to run noscript/adblock. I had it freeze with Firefox3.6, I think it's a unresponsive javascript file used to serve the ads. Chrome10 seemed to work fine.
