how do you get the site to recognize that you are an empyrean owner?

And yes, you need guildwork if it's past 80 since the ls community site won't pick it up (which is where ffxiah gets its info, aside from guildwork)

So there is no other way to get the achievement? I just completed Ukon 85 and frankly don't want to add more software basically just to get it.

The alternative would be waiting for Square Enix to add the upgraded weapons to the Linkshell Community. I'd guess that would happen sometime after the level 99 cap update.

Question how do you get multiple empyrean weapons to show on your profile? FFXIAH shows one but not the other. I don't remember if I had to do anything special on the site or linkshell community in order to get my katana to show. I recently just finished up Caladbolg but it doesn't show on the site. Any clues or hints? thanks!!

Don't have to do anything special to get multiple to show up.
I would suggest that anytime you log off, log off with your caladbolg equipped.

equip lvl 80 emp(altho the GW client WILL make it show up as currently equipped, i dont think ffxiah will add it to your page if it sees the 85 version), turn on guildwork client, success.

I no longer have lvl 80 masamune and merged servers. Theres absolutely no way for me to get it to show on my profile without that guildwork client right? I have a 2000 comp so GC doesnt work ;_;

Man I still can't get anything to show up for my other Empyrean weapons. I tried all of the steps above to no avail. I just finished the 80 H2H and still nothing ;_;

You have to get the FFXI linkshell community site to update with your weapon. Once that has updated with your weapon equipped, you have to manually request that FFXIAH updates your profile from the linkshell community site.

My understanding is that the FFXI Linkshell site updates when you logout of the game - how quickly I cannot tell you. I can say that I used to log out daily, and it would pick up whatever gear I had on from the night before if I checked it in the morning. My wife however, would never log her character out, and thus her FFXI Linkshell site would almost never update.

the thing is will it save under ur achievements if you use guildworks client? like if you log out of guildworks client will it still save under ffxiah.com? i mean for like a 85 kannagi

This isn't totally true. I just recently got my Almace 80 done. You need to log out of the game to get linkshell community to update, thats true, but once it does, IF your weapon is 80 still since LSC doesn't recognize 85's and 90's yet, refresh your FFXIAH.com page. I didn't have to manually do anything except log out. LSC and FFXIAH.com did everything else, and my Almace shows up under my achievements.

I just started using Guildwork client a couple days ago and it's not showing my 85 Armageddon nor is the bazaar uploading. I've tried flush and force update several times and it will show my gear change, just not the emp.

Your profile clearly shows you have an Armageddon. The gear profile section wont ever show an Empyrean weapon unless SE updates the Community site data. There is nothing you can do about it. Sorry. Not sure what is up with the bazaar issue however.

So if I play on a 360 I am SOL on getting my Empyrean to show up on my profile?
