So I'm coming back, and I have a 20k file update for ffxi that's going to take forever. Is there anyway I can get the most recent patch files from someone and just plug them in manually? Will that work?

Thanks so much, your a life saver.
I already went through that 20k update once but I didn't know that uninstalling Steam would take FFXI off too.......fail.
