Trial Woes

You really averaged almost 3 ws a min for 3 hours?

Just keep going.
It always gets annoying when you're about to finish and it isn't done. No point in tossing it then having to start over.

Believe it or not, yes. Took me about 2 hours 15 minutes to rack up the 300 needed to clean, Even kept count of them until I got to about 370, was too pissed off beyond that to keep counting. Checked with the NPC for the trial, not clean there either, so either I am doing something terribly wrong, or something is wrong with this trial, or others possibly.

Well if you unequip the weapon and don't loose the elemental resistances then you have not accumulated enough ws points, so.....

Did you actually mark down the weapon skills you did or did you just try to remember how many you've done?

Could you of possibly canceled the quest to get another trial weapon? I believe you can't be on 2 at once, so, you may have canceled it to receive another weapon, and never got the quest again. That's the only possible solution I could come up with.

1) You have to unequip and re-equip for the elemental resistances to disappear, so try that. (if you are just checking your equip screen to see if the resistance has gone)

2) If you play on PC there is a program by Apnea called Latent Checker that allows you to see how many ws points a weapon has accumulated.

You do not have to unequip it to see if the latent is off.

Sometimes you do.
