My brother and I are starting two new characters and I'm wondering which server we should start on. I am not planning on getting level 90 but just leveling gettin sub job items, kazham keys, do missions, etc.
If anyone wants to level some low level jobs or wants to join us just let me know, if not we will probably go back to Ramuh.

Ha would anyone be willing to help us out though seriously? Like im not trying to leech just a few K gil like 4-5k so we can get bronze armor/weapons and all that, again if not we will probably just play on ramuh and farm crystals and beehive chips ^^

we bought the PC versions (I was previously a Xbox user) and we got brande new P.O Ids and everything so were not transferring servers just starting new cause we saw it was only 5$ for all expansions so we said "F**k it" lol

Exactly, i was thinking about it and I mean just cause it's an MMO doesnt mean you have to be the best.
I remember starting tons of new chracters in Oblivion and it was more fun each time.
But i know this is a dumb question probably but a new dell computer with Windows 7 should definatly be able to run XI right?

Right now we're only at 4 people, but my fiance and her brother are both going to start playing again once they get better computers.
That said, of the 4 of us, we have at least one person from each nation, and intend to get to rank 10 for all nations. I, personally, am from San d'Oria.
I don't know if I made this clear earlier, but we're in the mindset that we're going to live FFXI like it's 2008 and do everything we would have done back then, including -- but not limited to -- Dynamis, Einherjar, and those sort of big group things. Just with a smaller group of specialists.

Brand name and OS have very little (if anything) to do with whether or not you will run the game well. Generally speaking, any basic computer you buy nowadays will run FFXI just fine with default options. If you want the game to actually look good, and run smoothly, you'll need to look into what kind of GPU you have.
