I just bought the game from Steam and after it was finished installing, i hit play and nothing would happen. Anyone know why?

Kinda hard to tell without actually sitting in front of your PC, did you restart? uninstall, reinstall?

I've never had a issue with anything from steam, but my friend said their customer support was pretty good. GL

what game is it and what is your OS?

i got ME once and i had to run it as administrator first to get it to work

because i had Windows 7

Been having a few issues with Steam myself. My expansions installed fine, but the add-ons did not. Maybe I'll try to uninstall Steam and see what happens.

lol i got another account setup but i only got the steam just to download the game on my new computer. lost my PC copy and didn't wanta buy a new copy. Ima try uninstalling all FFXI related stuff then download the steam copy.
