Hexa strike has a low fTP (1) and so gorget and belt will help to increase your dmg in a fairly noticeable way
Misconception. Hexa strikes first hit is 1. So are all the other hits making it's effective ftp more around 7 when dual weilding (assuming no double attack or misses). Making gorget and belt add less than 3% dmg between the 2 of them.

People are way too obsessed with gorget/belts. Of the commonly used weaponskills nowadays they are only the best for maybe half of them. The only reason they used to still be good on the multihit ones is because most of the time you were really doing it for the acc but didn't mind a little extra dmg too. However acc has become somewhat irrelavent

I have been working on trying to make my hexa strikes better i have tried different types of gear types and yet i still only can do a 1.5k max hexa outside abyssea i am going to try the gear set above but if possible what do i need to change now to be able to produce better ones? i also have a makhila +1 with WS dmg +10%

Ahh I see, been using gorget for a long time, probably just placebo effect but I always felt like it added about 30 dmg to my ws. Would you recommend ajari bead necklace then? Also how much conserve TP would you have to stack to make it worth using?

edit: also why does xiah show aqua sachet as giving str lol

I would suggest starting with replacing any armor that diminishes your WS Mods, in your case Flame ring and Reveren's mail.

You can replace Flame for Aqua or even Spiral and Reverend for Augur. maybe switch Morgana's choker for something with Acc like Chivalrious chain / pcc / ziel charm, ele gorget or an Ajari neck for more MND.

You should also opt for a Brutal earring

Gnadbhod's Helm would be good. Ire Torque +1 if acc fine prudence is nice too. Another club for your offhand... maybe some of those new rse gloves depending on your race. Cognizant Belt. Augurs legs too

I'd rather keep an ele belt for the conserve TP.
That + Aesir earring and Rokugo Hakimaki seem like a fine boost to the Acc/Atk/Ctp imo

Not really I had no idea what his race is. Hence I said maybe depending on your race. I mean ***if he was taru it would've been even worse lol

You seem to be rushing a lot on tests, considering you started the topic about 7 hours ago.

If you post the modifications you applied to your WS build it will also help people out on trying to understand what could be going wrong/right.

Edit: As for STR, I tend to favor it on Hexa strike too, but for certain armor slots, the gap between the ammount of STR or MND you can get is pretty overwhelming (Example: Augur body > Anything else)

One of the few cases where I wouldn't, actually. You get at most 1 DA with a DW Hexa, so the value of DA gear is much diminished.

That depends on whether you are playing in Abyssea with Atmas or outside of Abyssea with just gear and traditional buffs imo, not to mention the ammount of new DA gear available.

Healer's mitts+1 already give +7 to both STR and MND so I doubt there is anything capable of beating them on any race out there, yet.

I'd go with either Karate-Kid bandana or the orc helm.

Edit: Did you notice any difference in your TP return? If by chance you were missing any hit that could also explain the noticeable drop in damage

Clearly you are missing sometimes since you are getting different tp returns. Each hit after the first gives 1 tp if it conects.

Also everyone misses. Even with capped acc you have a good 30% chance to miss at least 1 hit
