we had a random discussion that disintegrated somehow into discussing the social norms of cave people


our convo's are really weird sometimes....

It's just a question <_< this isn't even bad, you should hear some of the conversations me and her have that I won't even dare repeat on here..

i never took ballet or anything. was in orchestra in junior high, but that was about it (first chair, ***!)

but the only weird things i can do is: i can stand with my heels touching and each foots toes facing outward. just googled it, apparently its called first position?

and i can make the three middle toes on my right foot "wave" together, while keeping my big toe and pinky toe still

ok now you've piqued my interest, I demand to know at least a couple of these other conversations...

Aw yeah, high-five! I was first chair flute all through middle and high school. :D I also played piccolo, they are the same darn instrument except flutes are fantastic and piccolos are evil.

Heels touching and toes pointed out is first position for most dance forms (it's not for middle eastern / belly dance, for example, but for classical forms it is.) But it takes more than the toes pointed out to be truly 'turned out.' You have to turn your thighs outwards as well. It helps with reducing stress on your knees, and for getting your leg higher.

Honestly, middle eastern dance was by far my favorite. You dance it barefoot, which made me feel more grounded. It was less about lines and European ideals of beauty and more about natural feminine grace. The outfits were more comfortable. It was just all-round a better fit for me.

We've been married almost 8 years, you kinda run out of 'normal things' to talk about after living with each other that long all day.

It seems like a perfectly normal conversation to me. /shrug I suppose I have a thing with being completely open about stuff like that and even more so if I'm seeking some kind of knowledge from the conversation no matter how trivial or just odd it may be.

Yea I can talk about or imagine some of the most disgusting things ever without even flinching. However, seeing it in person is a completely different story.

Also since this feels relevant, I am now 95% sure that my assumption that I am bipolar is correct. Besides appearing to exhibit classic symptoms of the disorder I have recently discovered that both my sister and my father are bipolar. :x

ok, so when we were first ever together, i was heavier than slip by quite a bit, and wanted to know what i'd look like in a dress that i loved, if i lost a lot of weight. he was kinda skinny at the time, and about my height...

anyhow...and i dont think this took much convincing...but i talked him into putting on one of my bras...and stuffing it...and putting on my dress to see how it might look on me if i got skinny.

and no, there are no pics, he woulda killed me

When it comes to disgusting stuff, I'm a huge hypochondriac, and I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaate vomit. I hate looking at it, smelling at it and producing it. Every time I hear about it, I start getting phantom pains in my stomach, thinking I'm next.
