Harassment Reports: What users believe should happen vs. what actually happens.

What users believe should happen:
-Harassment Report-
Action: Post is deleted, poster is permabanned, hogtied, castrated, and thrown in prison for 3 months.
Reason: "He called me crazy."

What actually happens:
-Harassment Report-
Action: Report Dismissal
Reason: That isn't harassment and let's face it, you must be crazy if you believe that's what happens.

When you're in a crowd that moves slowly people look like penguins. If you look into the distance you just see them waddle cause they're moving slowly and putting the weight on one or the other leg.

You guys should include a "well off topic" or "injecting topic where doesn't belong" button in the report feature.

Like how some people go on a rant about political parties in a thread about social situations.

Although, I may be guilty of it from time to time, at least I keep it in the scope of the topic at hand.

I've always wanted more buttons for that thing... some times I don't even want to report something because none of the options feel like they fit.

I've gotten used to green, but I like the color red better. Unfortunately, we all know the weight that color carries here. Why Scragg, why didn't you use blue or something?

So many people underestimate mounting in MH4U and just keep attacking when some one mounts.

Makes me sad when I start stabbing only to be knocked off by my own allies.

This is exactly why threesomes can become so awkward.

Some of them use the elitist view that mounting is pointless and time wasting, which is true if your group is good enough to constantly keep damage on the monster and knows how to keep track of break/knock down thresholds.

However, most groups aren't. On top of this if your group is in need of healing, eating, or sharpening mounting is the perfect opening for that.

But then... you have a lot of lower tier IG users who simply mount to mount which is annoying unless you know your group is having troubles with a specific monster and really just want to keep it stun-locked(had to do this on the Guild 6 Urgent).

You should be able to please two people, whether it's a ffm or mmf. With 3 it's not necessary to leave one waiting, just requires more energy.

Just had an AC tech come out and inspect our Heater and AC unit for this house, which I bought in late Decemeber.

Apparently the heater has a part called a heat exchange, which has long been obsolete, and it's cracked....which causes carbon dioxide to circulate though the house. This explains all the headaches we've had lately. Because of this, he had to legally condemn/disconnect the heater.

He then inspected the AC unit out back and it's wayyyy too old/busted to be of any use even if repaired, and if repaired it'd be way more expensive than just replacing it. It also uses a grade of freon that hasn't been used in years and that no one makes anymore, so it's be expensive as hell just for that. Add the fact that it gets used up way too fast....yeah.

TL;DR: I no longer have heating or air and will be shelling out thousands of dollars to fix this.

Class today I had another genius sitting next to me:

"hey hey! Did you get that?"
"yes, it's bla bla bla.."
"oh!! thanks!!"

2 minutes later..

"is she still talking about that thing?"

30 seconds later..

"aw man I didn't understand.." *turns towards me*

Electric space heaters and fans are like 30 bucks a pop. Might be better than nothing if that is your option for the time being.

First time is awkward though, especially if it is a first time for more than one person. You need a coach shouting positions or something. So many elbows, so many knees.

We have a couple of each. We're okay for the time being, looking at our options now. Though the space heaters are more for the cats when it goes below freezing overnight. During the day it gets pretty warm and we need to have the fans on xD

Natural progression off topic because of the discussion of several related topics is one thing.

Going from a social issue to a completely different political issue is another.

I think the moderators will understand and determine when somebody forces a topic just for the sake of forcing the topic.
