Trying to figure out what the best lowman grellow setup is and it has made me think of a question. If a spell gets outright resisted, such as threnodies/ninjutsu enfeebles, can it proc grellow? Im assuming not but thought I'd like to ask here because im sure someone here knows one way or the other for sure. Because best lowman setup will depend on this :0 thanks

No, it needs to actually land. That being said I'd do BLM/BRD(elemental seal threnodies) + BLU/NIN

You should already have a WHM for healing/light procs.

/RDM gets dispel, you crazy mofo (it sticks too). If they only have /BLM I don't know, tell them to suck less and level RDM or SCH.

/rdm gives dispel too.... unless you're trying to imply you need the skill bonus from Dark Arts to make it land or something.

I've gone WHM/BRD and landed threnodies. Some mobs are near impossible to land this way, however. They do need to be unresisted to proc.

Depends on your whm... ours has a really bad time. I don't think she has macc atmas..

I wasn't using macc, either. I was only using hopes and dreams of my seals dropping :/ I know I could have geared for it, but it was more of a "hey we don't have a bard, how about I sub brd!" Like I said, there are some mobs that it's near impossible to land on. Blazing Eruca comes to mind.

Guess you got lucky then. Or ours is just really unlucky cause I can't count the times we just held mobs hoping the 5% min land rate kicked in lol
