Increased Experience Point Yield

The amount of experience points obtained by defeating monsters in non-Abyssea areas will be revised across the board. For instance, defeating an "Even Match" foe will yield roughly double the current amount of experience points. This adjustment will also benefit dragoon wyverns and adventuring fellow NPCs.

I'm thinking a 30k/hr meripo will now be almost as fast as abyssea, without the wait of buiding lights or getting time. meripo can I have it?

The only prob i see is being lvl 75. Theres no colibri camp at 90, so youd constantly need to change syncs.

People still need merit points? >.> I'm sure Dominion exp with a small group of 3-6 will probably still be faster. Considering you get all of the Atma buffs...

well they did say awhile back mob levels accross vana would be scaled. i'm thinking that fixes the 75 thing. but youre probably right about dom ops. even duo is great xp

I see the increased exp being geared specifically for 1-50s (1-30 if you just want to leech asap).

because silver pieces come from imperial standing

people got the majority of thier IS from colibri meritpos

people now have minimal motivation to participate in mertipos or any other IS yielding XP party

with the supply of silverpieces lowered, demand increases and price increases with it

A 30k/hr meritparty wont be faster with the new update than it used to be.
30k/hr was a good meritpt before.
Not gonna be anywhere near as fast as abyssea lol

but i think what he was trying to get across was that assuming VTs/ITs yield doubled xp like EMs will

what was a 30k/hr meritpo would become a 60k/hr meritpo

which he feels would be competitive with abyssea

i don't necessarily agree with that either, but it seems more feasible than someone claiming a 30k/hr party would match abyssea xp

60k/hour bird camps would be fun again but they lack lots of things that Abyssea pt's offer.

Crour..which can be turned into money or Brews.

Dominion credits can be turned into money or needed for gear.

Random seals.

AF3 NQ feet.

Sellables. ie spells, augmented gear, and other random craftables.

Bird meripo for IS I don't think would over come all of ^ that. I can solo prolly 20~25k/hr solo on dominion pages on rdm so if I ever find myself needing xp or lolmerits that's what I'll do.

Edit: Oh yeah. Hitting 4~5k ws in Abyssea to hit ~2k ws outside will make me miss my crour buffs/atmas. They would have to boost xp alot more than double to make old style camps attractive to me.
