Help!

Hey guys, I wonder if anyone can confirm if my problem is legit...

I'm trying to log into the playonline viewer (not ffxi) when I get this error upon successful connection:



Now I'm suspicious because I was under the impression that there was no charge for the playonline viewer, if I missed a payment should it not come up as an error message when I try to launch FFXI? I missed a payment once before and I can't remember exactly what the process was, but I'm sure I was still able to log into playonline...

Any help would be much appreciated, I'd really just like confirmation that this is supposed to be what happens.

No payment comes up in POL. POL itself is free, but all the ffxi stuff is handled through POL. You put your payment info in pol, activate/deactivate content IDs, buy add ons, etc.

Nothing dealing with transactions is actually done in ffxi

All those messages happen when you log into the viewer. Hell the payment reminder even shows up then. Everything is done thru POL and is associated with the POL account

You cannot log into POL when you have unpaid fees.

If you cancelled your account for example and then log into POL it works.

But once they couldnt book the due amount of your CC / bank account POL will be automatically closed too until you paid it.

PS: i know this because it happened to me like.... 20x already.

and if you use the verified by visa thing, you'll be charged 1 dollar to reapply your card to the account.
