Anyone know the best job to do this quest on? ive looked at all my jobs, and the gear will cost a bunch and is NEVER on the AH(Scorpion Breastplate). Is there a job with less gear?

Avoid WAR and RNG, as they can use a high amount of both gears, in my opinion.

Use your SMN, or SCH it's the only mage jobs you have that you can wear aF on.

Robes and ***like that is easy to make or find.

I did RDM, but that was because Thorny got all the gear and passed it around to the LS, lol (everyone has RDM). Maybe find some friends who want to get this done too (I'm sure there has to be someone) and have them chip in gil and find a job that you have in common. I think NIN was the best job for this, but it doesn't appear that you have it.
