Ramparts In Salvage

Doing Salvage and can't seem to get Ramparts to pop the NM at all. Last 4 runs we have gone to Bhaf Remnants we did Ramparts on Floor 1,2, and 4 each time. NO NMS.... Anyone know any tricks to getting them to pop?

Lies, I'll tell you my secret. Since I figured it out, it has worked every time.

Open with flash on the 2nd floor rampart. You'll always get a bee NM spawn. I'm not kidding either. Every single time since I figured it out, it has spawned 1+ nms. I did a bajillion bhaflaus before it, then a bajillion after, and it has worked every time. I totally believe it.

the trick is you have to go in on windsday, full moon and claim the rampart at 6:00 (game time) with mug facing NE and have exactly 4 members in your pty.

Yeh, its just luck. But everytime an NM pops, it increases the % chance of it popping again. Sorry you had no luck >< Had a few runs like that myself.

If it pops, the chances of it popping again increase and increase further each time it pops again. Which is why you can see like 10+ pop in 1 rampart, or none at all lol.

There's some truth to what Tuvae says, kinda. I think it's more like some ramparts can pop NMs, while some can't. Think of it like a VNM with shadow vs a VNM without a shadow, you have no idea which it's going to be until you're already fighting it. One thing that I definitely believe though, is that if the rampart hasn't popped an NM by the time it reaches 50%, it's not going to. Once we heard this theory, we did a lot of testing on it, and sure enough, every single time it reached 50% without popping an NM, that was it.

So if you're after more than one rampart on the run, and it gets to 50% without popping an NM, move on.

4 weeks solid of bhaf remnants - the under 50% no nm pop rule is garbage!

It has clearly spawned NMs after this point and had not popped any prior to 50% many times. I even seen one pop @ 5% with zero spawns prior to it.

Luck is all you have on your side.

Yes there could be a secret to them like all other hidden secrets in the game but nothing ever gets reported as being 100% ever....
