"Cloak And Dagger" Quest Problems. Please Help!

When I talk to Jakoh Wahcondalo, all she says is: "You don't know the way to the temple? It's just to the southeast of here. But that's all the help I can give you. I'm not rrrisking my, or any of my guards', tails."

I have skill level 233.
I am talking to her as BRD90
I do not have any other quests of hers active.
I have completed ZM4.
I have tried logging out and logging back in.

Does anyone know what I need to do to get her to give me the quest?

It sounds like you have this quest active, and I'm pretty sure you can talk to her more than once and she should give you the quest.

I did check and double check, I do not have that quest active. I have also talked to her multiple times. Thanks for the reply though.

Ok, this is what I'm thinking-- do you have dagger merits? Your BASE skill must be 230, not 222+8.

Bingo! thanks, I can't believe I didn't think of this. I suppose I forgot that I'd put merits on dagger.

NP! Took me a bit to think of that. D: Was a problem that didn't really occur back in the day, but it's probably a huge thing nowadays, lol.

I have base dagger skill of 237, I'm level 73 THF, I'm on Ark Angels for Zilart Missions, I've completed A Question of taste (both parts) and not even been offered 'everyone's grudging'

Anybody got ANY clue as to why this isn't working?

Nope, none. I;ll double check but theres only 3 jobs I have that high and one I completed already.
even checked the fame NPC and Ive got 9 fame in Kazham...

Maybe SE dropped the ball. There's no reason why I can;t flag this quest...

I think you have to be level 75 for the jobs that can flag the quest.

I just did this quest this past week...got the same dialog that you did and couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong.

Then I realized I was talking to her on a job that couldn't equip dagger...I hope you aren't as stupid as I am but thats the only thing I can offer.

Well then, I remember when I first tried to flag the Savage Blade WSNM I had forgot to change to BLU before hand and was tripping out why It wouldnt let me get the quest. Tried on THF perhaps for this quest?

BB, still 70 or have you leveled. If not, that's the problem. You have to be 71 to flag.

I cannot find a discernable reason why it isn't working so now I'm going to see if I can force her to offer Everyone's Grudging.

Next time they do a major update after this one they really ought to consider rewriting that whole "don't spend too much time playing and neglect your other life stuff" and put something like "like you have a choice, 'cause nothing happens quickly around here. :P"

What lvl is your Thf.

# MUST BE LEVEL 71+

Bloodbeat's still 70, so he can't trigger the quest =)

This is most likely the issue, friend of mine had this problem trying to get the Club of Trials. He tried getting the quest while on THF, but THF can't equip the club.

Oh nevermind, issue was found already. I just have to read up.
