What Job(s) Can Equip The Most Haste?

So I had a random thought today about trying to use the Atma of Sea Daughter (5 tick regain but with aprox 13% slow), and assuming that this is gear slow like the haste atma is gear haste, hypothetically if someone could gear 39% haste, they could still have capped haste with this atma? Even if this was possible, I am in no way saying it would be worth it, but this is just all in fun!

Anyhow, what job(s) can gear the most haste and what would the gear set look like? I'll start with nin because I think that one I can think of all the neccesary pieces...



This set will give 33% normally
38% with /drg
42% in yellow hp with /drg
62% in red hp with /drg

This site is pretty useful, just choose your job, choose the stat and it'll calculate which gears can net you the max. of the stat you chose, though it doesn't take into account hidden effects or latents. It's up to date and pretty fun to play around with.

You could use the Tern set for +6% and forget the paralyzes.

That staff is interesting haha, never seen it before. Feel like it may allow drg or mnk to have some very high haste builds.

Hmm, hadn't thought of that. I do believe that you might be right. While there's probably a source that's already tested whether or not haste effects delay after 26% -if- you have, say, 6% slow from gear,(thus essentially saying the person is striving for 32%), or if it's a straight up cap at 26% regardless of sources of slow on gear, I am ignorant of it.

Edit: I would, however, surmise through basic logic that it does in fact stop at 26% regardless however.

Yeah I get the idea that this is probably right. If the atma was "-13% haste" that would be different, but there's all kinds of crazy variables and madness. Or, I could just be wrong, too. I can only think of one way to find out, and A. I don't have the gear/jobs, and B. I am at work anyway. It would be pretty cool, really cool, since at least on some jobs it's getting super easy to reach haste cap.

That site is awful, after an hour and a half of trying to find max DEX build for BLU, I ended up giving up after getting Zircon and Fluorite Rings, Enkidu's Subligar, etc. I made sure the parameters were correct too, it's just not a good site.

Your mileage may vary. When it works for me - sometimes it does not - it returns pretty good results.

Hmm, not sure why it would do that. I just put in max DEX for BLU and got around 108 DEX with Thundersoul Rings and Mavi Tayt +2...

yeah, haven't worked for me either lately. it does find the stats, but they are randomly ranked -.-;
