Skill Ups

Aside from Abyssea - Where is a place to skill up 250 Club? Been in VOS for about 2 hours now, and No luck. all I got was a +.4 Healing +.3 enhancing


-- Might change to Staff (200) Just to get a few skill ups lol

You really need to post on what jobs... and if that is base skill or that's what you have with merits.

This matters not just because of if you can actually solo but if you will actually get skillups. Since the possibility of skill ups is based on skill caps of that job

Steelshells, The bohyahda tree.

Lol well >.> whm, If that means anything (Could have been pld) Normally when ya ask for skill ups of X weapon higher then X skill you'd assume it's a job with a B- ~ A skill in it.


- I figured VOS mobs would have been higher Last i did Steel shells was along *** time ago. (had nearly caped Club Last time i was at this, in 08) it's just "slow" =P

I would but the last guy that I answered that asked turned out he wanted to skill up on a job with D skill even though he had one with B... and even B- to A can be a big difference.

As whm you'd need a mob at least lvl 74 and that would only get you to 521... which is probably why VoS is kinda slow.

This would be a good thing to look at

Your acc issues shouldn't be that great... once again I recall the tale of skilling up in abyssea with 116 skill on rng... and use sushi!

Seriously 2-3 acc atmas + sushi by itself should put you at what most DDs are at in abyssea. I use my drg alt to proc red and it has only a little higher than 200 skill in most the weapons it's using for that and it's fine with just RR and sushi and lol full perle. Hell it wasn't that bad with just sushi

You'd think that - I Was Healing at the time ( was only healer for 2 hours at one point) So I had MM RR *Dex boost* and one other Atma, I forget what one it was.

Along with +52 Acc (64? with club (the head band with +5 club skill 12 acc) and Acc Drinks, And Solace + auspice Still was Wiffing alot on Sand Sweepers, (1/5 hits would land)

Current Club Skill is 250 (Has been for a year, Just got back in to whm) only 9~ skill up shy of lvl 75 whm club cap.

Oh Well No big Rush, I should be able to get black halo right nyo

I was Skilling up on 76 RNG with a Archery skill of 247, I got 10 skill ups in a hour - more then i did on club, lol

but I had Ra acc out the ***. Atma of the Drifter, Stout arm and RR Shoulda put Atma of Kirin instead for more Agi

and like +52~8 Ra acc in gear =P

Um... can you rewrite what you said... at first you said you had 250 skill now you say you have 150 which you would have a problem with. THen you say you got 547 archery....

Also I said acc atmas acc!!! Like C&D and food!!! Food > drink I think.

It Was a typo, didn't notice it, I meant 250 Club, lol

The Edit part was to Concur with your statement of skilling up Archery at 118 in abysea. with atma and gear I was skilling up faster with Archery then i was with Club skill -

I was skilling up faster with Archery then Clup 10 Archery skill ups in about 2 hours, in the time it took 10 skill ups on club.

And once Again, another Typo I ment 247 (VERY small Num Pad)


I don't have C&D sadly =\ I Died at 1% when i tryed to get the Atma, lol.

most my atma's are Mage atma's for blm rdm whm (Mp Mainly) a few Regain / store tp HP boosts & "Occ, absorb dmg/magic"

Ive Tryed using Food in Abyssea, I don't see a difference

Good sushi should make a big diff at that lvl it's a huge diff.

Atma of the Sand Emperor is supposed to be pretty easy to get.

Atma of the Horned Beast also looks pretty easy to get. Like a T1 version of sobek really.

Atma of Undying Loyalty is one of those quest + dominion ops ones.

All of those are major or better

Get 1-2 of those + sushi and you will be over killing acc

If you want to be lazy about it, put on mounted champion, or any other high regen atma, and just afk for 2 hours while you whack something. I was able to level club from 50-250 in abyssea within a couple hours, but I was borrowing my friend's kclub at the time >.>

Wish I had Mounted Champ. and Gnarled horn as well.

GH is easy... I've seen people solo sobek. Duo is pretty easy

ah, I Haven't even bothered to do research on it, i'm trying to re-build my Stones for abyssea (Last pt i was in was good, 14 hours on 0 stones and 120m from last visit :P )
