Optimal Rudra's Set?
Optimal Rudra's set?
This is what I'm currently using for rudra's storm, the only obvious upgrade I see is Heca +1 legs. Is there anything that I'm missing?
Not sure if the attack is needed, but if not, Matre Braggzen.

Matre Braggzen is the most overrated piece of gear in the game, I wouldn't use it for anything.

I'd use heca NQ or +1 over matre because of the +20 attack. I just need to get another damn abjuration somehow, haha

comparing attack to anything else is really situational and harder to do... probably would especially since you aren't critting and all. The big question is will rudra's help your dps enough for it to beat the loss of dmg from not using evisceration for dnc?

ideally it's a 2hit ws to begin with, so it crits the main hit and double attack from the main hand.

And from what yuna is saying dnc can make it crit and double attack whenever she wants. For that matter double attack could end up adding as much dmg as SA/TA dex/agi bonuses anyways lol

What is the timer like on that dnc force crit flourish? Wiki says it's a 2:00 recast, which would make it usable only once every 6 WS or so.

Striking flourish (DA) is a 2:00 recast and Climactic flourish (crits) is 1:30 recast allowing you to keep WS damage pretty high quite often. It's not 5 min recast like most abilities.
Wouldn't bother with gorget/belt if you're forcing double attack. Three hits, it'd be 5.25 collective fTP, another .1 is barely even 2% more to WS damage. And if crit on the double attack hits, it'd really be less. Honestly not sure if it's worth it without DA, but I'd lean towards Love Torque/Cuchulain's Belt.
And uh..Climactic and Striking are the same JA group (Flourish III). Their timers are linked. Also, Climactic doesn't work on WS that don't naturally crit (unless that's what Charis Tiara does, haven't heard any info on it).

Striking Flourish is worse than Sneak Attack and you can use it less than half as often, but it does let the first hit and one DA potentially crit. I think my current max with Rudra's is around 6.6k. It is mostly limited by luck and monster HP.
as for back piece you think cavaros is better than atheling? since you can only have 42% crit dmg for rudra (cant wear loki)
