Graphics Cards?

Looking to get a good graphics card for ffxi got any suggestions?

Looking at buying a geforce 8400 but heard ffxi has problems geforce card some times

Any video card you can buy in the store today should run FFXI with no problem. You don't need a high end $500 card since the game doesn't utilize the GPU. But you get what you pay for, buy a $20 card get a $20 experience. The 8400 is a pretty old card. You should look at something in the 9xxx or 2xx series.

any graphics card equivelent of geforce 7000 or higher would play FFXI just fine. this game isn't going to look like rift or mass effect 2 lol.
although If you want to registry edit you may want to get something better like geforce 8000+ or w/e
damn you ps2 limitations ~_~ i want a graphic update

You should post some specs, like, motherboard and powersupply and budget limitations. Just throwing out random cards is a poor idea without knowing what your limitations, expectations and what your budgetary limits are.

Speccy A neat program that'll help you know what is inside your compter. You'll have to find out your power supply another way.
