Do Trial Weapons Wsp Count In Abyssea?

Noob question but... do wsp count in abyssea? I've been trying to break my trial knuckles to get asuran fists. Spent 5 hours in abyssea and then an hour to two outside on fovs with friend doing fragmentation sc and still nothin. Help me out! Do they work in abyssea or do I just need to keep going a bit more

Just FYI, when it's done, you will lose the boosts from the weapon. It doesn't just say you finished.

Just did the quests for great katana and polearm this week and both time the latent never wore off. I was able to trade the weapons back to the quest givers and complete with the latent still active.

Sometimes you have to zone or unequip reequip to see it come off... or soemtimes you just don't notice something else giving you some +resist.

And yes you can I've broken 3 weapons in abyssea

Ya know I had the same problem with my katana when I did it last week. I thought they didn't work but 3 Jins later outside of Abyssea and it was cleaned. So they do count for trial WSpoints.

I did both savage blade and black halo on mandies in tahrongi. You can definately do trial ws points in there.
