Hm.. Silly question, but is your blue magic capped? What kind of numbers are you getting with all your buffs up? BLU/RDM use Memento, Enervation, BA/CW after the mobs are slept and you should def hit higher than that.

roughly about 5k if I add in an ascetics but just as a plain blu/rdm using only BA that's what I got.
A friend of mine said it might be due to correlation effects, Charged whisker used by coeurls (beasts) would be less effective to Mandragora's (plantoids).

If you're hitting 5k with an ascetic's than you're doing good, When you don't have ascetic's then use Memento and or Enervation.

I guess I should'nt be assuming most things, but a lot of mandragora's were weak to lightning I though?

Cardinalgate and I kept getting killed by the Bombs in Abby Vunkerl the other day. We would pull a few mobs, and when we got back to camp they started using Nocturnal Combustion RIGHT AWAY. Sometimes they only hit either of us once or twice.

Figured out why: Reactor Cool uses ice spikes, and on Iceday that feeds them 100% TP and they started using TP moves in 1 hit.

So, if you plan to use these mobs forget about using Ice Spikes or Reactor Cool for pull on Iceday.

Yes they're weak to lightning. Correlation would subtract some damage. -.25 fTP to be specific.

The Djinn thing shouldn't be a surprise, it's a trait of the mob family to gain TP and access to Nocturnal Combustion when hit with damage of the same element of the current day.

I used to put up Ice spikes, but as I kept burning I just wanted to cut things out and get pulls done faster. I usually like to be out and ready to pull as the next set of mobs pop if possible. Same reason I don't Memento Mori or Fantod. Even if you are only getting 4kish on Whisker, CA and or Efflux Whirl should be enough to kill anything that didn't get a resist on whisker. After that its just tossing out a delta thrust or goblin rush to polish off any stragglers if I don't have my BLM mule helping nuke down.

Instead of using Ultimate I use Atma Of The Full Moon. It gives MaB and refresh+5. The refresh is handy before you cap lights. Once i cap lights, i switch to Ultimate. I prefer not to pull as I don't have w.legs and I'm taru. Lol. Here is my casting order:

Phalanx -> Aquaveil -> Cocoon -> Occulation -> Memento Mori or Ascetics Potion (as soon as i see puller turn the corner) -> Dream Flower -> Enveration -> Efflux & Chain Affinity -> Whirl Of Rage -> Sleepga from mage -> Burst Affinity & Azure Lore -> Charged Whisker -> Whirl Of Rage to finish or mage casts -ga to finish.

My CW hits for about 5K and i only have 1 piece of AF3+2.

Yes it stacks. Memento Mori is a MAB buff, Fantod acts like a MNKs boost, and is separate.

AF3+2 doesn't really play a big role, well, except for the feet, I guess? The legs are pretty good, I only use legs and feet +2, you could go by with some other dex legs if blu could use it anyway. <.< so the af3+2 doesn't really matter. I don't have wlegs, I just put up those buffs, including Warm-Up, then pull in eva gear (Since my PDT set is garbage to the core). then the usual CAefflux wor > BAwhisker.

What hands are you using then? Im too lazy to farm seals so i just use w/e is last equipped(normally melacos >.>)

It's not always best to pull in wlegs, for me at least. I usually only use them with mobs that have mov speed+ (ie. coeurls/raptors) Even then, it's not needed, it just makes it easier to pull more mobs before your buffs start to wear. Depending on the area/how the camp is setup I sometimes wont use wlegs just to ensure I don't accidentally out run any mobs. It's easy to not deaggro but when I'm about 30 pulls in I start getting lazy lol.

You'll be very hard pressed to find a better pair of gloves than empyrean +2 for CW.

Mirage hands have 5 DEX, Wild gages have 7 DEX. That would probably hold ya off a while.

I'm going to compile a guide for charged whisker into one post with help from the career / charge whisker burning pro blues. Want to make a complete CW burn guide with the following information (w/e else you think needs to be added). Try to use this form will filling in. Lets go for Optimal sets even if you dont have it list the optimal setup (I'm no big time BLU but looking to go do some burning on my own to farm some stuff out of gold boxes)

Does the addle on Romanus make Hecate's still the tops or does the extra Magic Attack make it worth it? Or does 6% addle even make that much of a difference?

If you're talking about Whisker, the Addle won't matter, because in whisker burning, when you use it, they're asleep, and you only use whisker once per pull.

1) Morrigan's Robe.

Loki's if BA up, Think Morrigan's otherwise but you already said BA.
