Evasion Skill Ups?

been trying soo hard to cap evasion... im using atma of sea daughter for regen.. but cant seem to find a mob that i can skill up on... im at 340 eva now on thf.. any suggestions?

Fanatics + 30 chigoes in attowha chasm abyssea. Should work :D

Probably won't work with the repop patch, they'll all be below his level and he's got the eva of a level ~86 THF.

A similar approach in a Heroes zone, however, might get you a bit further. If not, some time with the new non-Abyssea mobs might be in order. Alternatively, just tank a pickup party or some NMs til you cap out.

i was hoping i could do it solo since its tough to get a party that will let me tank w.o Utsu :-(

Mandys in Abyssea - Altepa link and have high attack rate. If you time it well just after a group has been killing they will be T/IT and can link the whole lot of em. Watch out for Sabotender NM. Fanatics a must. Great for Shield/parry as well, but can't use fanatics. They are at conflux 6.

why cant you uses fanatics for shield/parry?

Pretty sure if attack would have done "0" damage if unblocked you cannot get a skillup from the block.

Alternatively, you can skill up eva on the colibris in Ab-Misareaux.
People farm them often so you'll find some tough ones.

What I did is go THF/WAR (for Defender) with eva equipment, aggro one colibri and then gather about 15 others. (Don't take them all or you'll have complaints ;)
After that I just used that Bastion temp item that nullifies damage and look at the birds hitting me.
Once the item's effect wears off, you can wait a bit and then use Hide to get rid of all the colibris.

Repeat until you get max evasion skill.

For this, I used Atma of the Ebon Hoof and Atma of Vicissitude. If you have 3 lunar abyssites and Atma of the Stronghold, that's even better.

Go to any abyssea HERO areas and bring a WHM friend.


Things you will need:
PDT gear
defense food
w/e atma that gives regen or defense+


Aggro at least 10 non casting mobs and get to a safe spot with your whm friend.

The only thing WHM will do is cure bomb you, period.

WHM wont get hate as long as you didn't pull(red named mob).

If you die, just zone and do it again.

Me and friend did this on the first day heroes was released. Leveled to 90 asap and just capped eva aggroing all the mobs and cure bombing on whm.
