Hurry Up And Wait... What To Do?

Okay, so we all know the deal. To do some things, you need people, even if it's an LS event. That means waiting on some. So, here's the situation. You're bored while waiting for people, and you find yourself doing odd things, like emotes or what have you. So, what do you end up doing?

I usually like to run circles around people, like friends and even complete strangers.

Log out or go dual box something. I was never good at waiting on people that think their time is more valuable than mine. Guess that's why I never enjoyed big linkshells.

I doodle LS members or, just like you, run circles around people^^

You know what your problem is Mabrook? Relying on people. If you get pops for stuff in Abyssea and need help just let me know. We can knock out stuff without needing those other 16 people.

I used to log on and waste so much damn time waiting on people and waiting for event time. Now I log in, blow some ***up, and log out. And I still get gear 10 times faster.

Do quests for seals in abyssea

Not an always thing, but the other day we were all waiting at some maw somewhere, and I got bored. I just went in. Then everyone else started coming in.

Guess we were more ready than everyone was pretending.

That's probably one of my biggest pet peeves about large shells. We once waited for over 45 minutes for a bard to show up to einherjar. As we were waiting in Halzahm, he finished up his xp party (not sure why he was in one when he knew we had einherjar), muled some gear, and ran from jeuno to whitegate and back about four times. By the time he showed up, half of us were ready to leave. My husband and I stopped doing einherjar with that shell shortly after because we were tired of waiting over the length of time of the actual event just for people to show.

Anyways. If we are waiting on someone, I will browse the internet, read a book, do homework, watch TV, or trot around my kitchen scouting for snacks.
