Rancor back is good for pup too. Just sayin' :P Oh yeah, it's good for DNC too (And Victory Smite/Ukko's Fury), I probably worded that wrong, I meant that for NIN, that's the only function it serves.

Busy gearing up my nin atm. near finished my tp set apart from epona's.
But a little stuck on my ws set options till i get something better. Can't see me getting a hope torque soon so is ranc back + Houyi's gorget better than any other options. I'm gearing for outside abyssea btw. Also i have kudzu Aketon looks good stat wise for Hi without any crit though. The only thing from VW other than Athos's that's somewhat good for Hi is Tessera Saio, but I doubt you're getting that thing before an Athos's. Houyi Gorget works pretty well, yeah, it's about on par with ele gorget outside though the gorget will probably win inside.

I could be wrong, but i think its byakko's in abyssea & thaumas outside
Yeah, crit damage +4% on the Byakko's would make it really good in Abyssea. Outside, it depends on where the 15 DEX puts you for dDEX. In like, Dynamis the Haidate would probably win.
So i made more progress on my gear just thaumas feet to get for set and a few other bits. Got myself a loki's.
Just looking for the best set on ep nightmare mobs. After reading around looks like they have about 90 agi my current ws set has 139 dex so once i get the feet should cap my ddex for Hi. Just checking if im aiming for ideal sets really for ep dynamis farming tp and ws (excluding legion stuff). So i can plan what to aim for next. Opinions? Quick question. Ocelomeh Headpiece (NQ) or Anwig Salade with DEX4 AGI4 WS dmg 2% Crit dmg 2% for inside/out. Any other option is appreciated. I dont have Thaumas Head atm.
Generally, Ocelomeh outside, Anwig inside.

Don't carry the salade then. It's abyssea, and if you're having problems killing things in abyssea, the salade won't help you.

Yeah I generally only focus on my outside set because I doubt anyone really cares that much about your inside Hi damage outside of "amg muh dmg" screenshots.

Hows athos feet and body vs iga body n thaumas feet compare outside abyssea?
