Anyone here good w/ dats recoloring?
Tantra hose look like ***so basically just want to recolor Hachiryu Haidate to match Tantra colors, if anyone can do this.

Sadly I don't have any software to enable recoloring or alteration of the dats themselves; however, I do have a third party utility program that at the very least lets you examine both audio and sprite data so you can see where everything is located and adjust it accordingly with something like photoshop, GIMP, or XiMC/Sound Forge.
It also lets you do other nifty things like custom color chat log filters, change NPC names, etc.

its pretty simple for a recolor. just get modelviewer, find the hume m haidate, then hit dat to mqo and select the legs and that give you the files you need

I can give it a shot later, if you'd like. I've done a couple recoloring for myself.
Hmm just got the model view and nothing shows up, but i selected hume M, then selected hachiryu haidate and set to mmq, so I'd assume it worked anyway.

It has pictures! Idk that the links to programs are all still updated, but I know that the new dat site SHOULD have all the lists and programs available for download if they are dead.

ok, go into the folder you have model viewer in, and there should be a folder that says model, and itll have 4 files in it, the one for recoloring will be an image file. then you can send that to Mytoy for the recoloring

Ah ok, yea I have ffxi on my D drive, was set to C
You need to go "File > Final Fantasy Folder" and make sure the location listed is in fact the installation path of your FFXI files. Default won't work if you are on 7 or have it installed somewhere special ^^

SEs shoulda just did this as af3 pants to begin with even the mesh on the body and those pants match up.
