does anybody know what size the oringnal hard drive was on the very first xbox 360? i belive it was 10gb with around 4 g of useable space but im not sure some people are telling me it was a 20gb anybody know?

I have no idea, but mine came with a 20gb. *shrug* It's been enough.

On various sites I've read, it's 20GB but with the default stuff already on it, you only have about 10GB left.

It is 20GB. The Original Xbox had an 8/10GB HDD, depending on model.
