360 Freezing Up In Port Jeuno!

Wish they fix this i freezed uo now 5 times only in port jeuno any other 360 people having this problem?

Im currently frozen at grauberg abyssea maw. When i log onto mules no problems but when i log onto my main completely freezes my 360.

am in port now just freezed up 7 times now really sucks .

I'm having the exact same problem.. Other than Abyssea-Grauberg and Port, are there other areas to avoid?

they need to fix this soon i get on and 1 or 2 mins later freeze up sucks.

Have any of you guys tried a file check? I play on PC and Tahrongi was broke, ran a file check and it's fine now.

Happened to me also after update reported to a GM they said they were aware of problem for 360 but didn't say what was causing it. I have avoided port jeuno to get around this but now I freeze in upper jeuno also (I have already checked files and all ok) annoying thing is when freezes have to reboot xbox and then it wont recognise disc!

Yeah im having this problem as well.. /sigh

After freezing 6-8 times I reinstalled PoL yesterday and didnt freeze for a while. Did a aby-ule party and got to 90 np, then today i did salvage, walked all over.. finally went back to aby-ule to lvl a different job and as soon as i got to camp.. froze. Froze 4 times before i could finally get a warp off. Now if I try to move or zone anywhere im freezing up again.

So I decided to call a GM and thought maybe they can give me some input on the issue and how long it will take to fix.. Its been 2 hours and 35 min and still no response from them. Pretty funny how there is only 738 people on our server right now, but it takes more then 2 hours for a GM to get to my call.

happening to me also. Was only Jeuno, but went to Whitegate and froze there also, got pissed and logged. :(

Port jeuno causes my FFXI window to lock up and crash on PC when I swap gear, doesn't happen anywhere else.

Better than using a PS2 at least

I had a problem very similiar to what you all describe during the previous update on my ps3. Every time I logged in my main character froze up. Sometimes in seconds, sometimes in minutes. The only way to fix it was a fresh re install.

I wasn't having any issues at all post-update, until just now. Logged in, warped to Sandy, froze. Reset x-box, took 3 steps, froze. :(

After finishing the update initially, I had froze twice in Port. I turned my system off, let it sit for a few hours while I logged onto laptop and let that update, came back later that night and spent 4 hours playing with no problem at all, running through Port several times.

I think part of it may have been my system's temperature, it was quite warm when I shut it down, and letting it sit near an open window cooled it off quite well, but I think part may have also been just the amount of data that was going through it between the download and install itself, and then actually playing the game. I'm no system tech though, so I'm not sure, I just know it's all working for me now at least with no problem. Still playing on pins and needles, though.

3 hours later while still staring at a wall in FPS view.... waiting patiently to hear from a GM... i froze FML

SE needs to employ someone who at least knows what year it currently is. :)
