Get a bigger HDD? I thought mine was the smallest they come in (20gb, well less once its formatted), didnt know 4's existed for 360. Can pick up 2nd hand HDD in those 2nd hand electrical/ cash converter stores for like $20? prolly for a 20gb.

A 60GB 360 HDD retails for around £27 pre-owned.

Do you have one of the new Xbox 360s? If so, the old Hard Drives aren't compatible, but there's a 250GB HD for about 100 dollars, give or take. Just check eBay or something if you don't want to spend that much.

Edit: I ask because I know 4GB is the "standard" for the cheap version of the new Xbox 360s. If you don't know how to remove it, there's a thing on the bottom vents that you push and it pops open.

You can request one from M$ for free, iirc. You used to be able to anyway.

Apparently not if what Enternius says is true, im a bit behind I didnt know there was a new 360 tbh, the 20 gb hdd might not fit.

This is a Hard Drive for the new Xbox 360s. It's about 1/3 the size, there's no chance an old hard drive would fit.

There are transfer cables you can pick up for about 15 dollars or something, but I believe Gamestop does it for free, too.

The 4 gig is a flash drive in the new models. You'll have to go out and get the 250 gig internal drive (easy to just slip in). The other HDDs that people mentioned are external models on older models.

You have to format it in FATX if you plan on doing that.

Where as an older external driver, can just be taken out of its caddy, and plugged in. That requires two TORX screwdrivers, I forget the sizes, but they're the common ones.

Yes, but the external HD doesn't fit in a slim model. >.>

That's why I said take it out of it's caddy. They both use 2.5" SATA HDD's...
