Logging In On Playonline Though Xbox

SO I haven't had to use my xbox for a long *** time. Unforantely my motherboard was cracked during a travel. I just got my xbox running and tring to log in on my gamertag and it keeps telling me "User hasn't activated chat or messaging" so it won't let me pass the logon screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Which logon screen? The Xbox's one, or Playonline?

It let's me put in my SE password and One-Time, but after that, that message comes up and won't let me go any further.

Hmm... Not all too sure about that one. Sorry I can't be of help.

I'd say try reinstalling it on the Xbox, but that's the only thing I can think of.

Atleast a File Check.
