I was rather amused by the fact that they felt they needed to Tweet that PUP was going to be one of the headlining jobs for an adjustment, I wasn't aware that there was a major out roar of a needed job adjustment to justify.
I speculate a /jobemote change, it'll be game breaking... @op I lol'd, tyvm
I hear they are changing it from lolpup to roflpup and in the future update roflmfaopup. And yes I am going to level it to 99 in my pretty pink ensem rather than bothering with af3 and you can't stop me! They're getting <petmpp>. :P

I'm gonna go waaaay out on a limb and say new attachments. That or new WSs we been wanting for our automatons.
Personally I'm more excited about the macro update, imagine the possibilites as pup. Can do 3 ws's /sam and mb with one button!

idc what they do, i just hope they dont nerf the burritos, +10 pet tp / tic is sensational. store tp for a bit and do tactical switch, then bam a stringing pummel with 340%0 TP ftw. let us merit our 80+ update JA's and pup will be set.
The newest thing that will be added, is that the pup will be able to HD channels

I would love to see a JA that gives us a swap between status effects... would open up a world of options for us, such as throw up stonesking, and swap.. throw up 3 wind manuevers with turbo charger and swap... etc. etc.. that would be my pick for something new
secondly would love a new weaponskill for the auto too... really needs to be done at this point, its been what.. 2yrs since our last one.. lastly, i would like to see a new frame... or at least a body ... i can see not giving us a new head for the auto. new attachments idk, pretty much everything is covered as far as attachments go... unless they go tier 3 on some of them, which would be nice, but maybe hold off till lvl 99 for that

The following automaton attachments will be added: Heat Capacitor A fire-based automaton attachment. Functionality: Erases all Fire Maneuver effects to restore TP. Power Cooler An ice-based automaton attachment. Functionality: Reduces MP cost in proportion to the number of Ice Maneuvers in effect. Barrage Turbine A wind-based automaton attachment. Functionality: Erases all Wind Maneuver effects to occasionally grant a Barrage effect. Galvanizer A lightning-based automaton attachment. Functionality: Increases chance of countering in proportion to the number of Thunder Maneuvers in effect. The following weapon skills will be added for the Valoredge and Sharpshot frames: Skill Name Frame Effect String Shredder Valoredge Delivers a twofold attack. Critical hit rate varies with TP. Armor Shatterer Sharpshot Delivers a fourfold attack. Additional effect: Weakens defense Additional effect duration varies with TP. I'm a bit torn by this new update.
Very mixed feelings on the attachments. Some could be useful, but not something I was really looking forward to or felt the need to get. Others might have been nice with another element, but with the ones they showed they probably won't be that great. The MP one is useful to confirm something, the way SE see our Pet used. It's pretty clear they consider MP as a possible issue, and if they do so it's pretty clear they're considering the ADD something "wrong", and not the way they meant your Automaton to be used. Which I can somehow understand. Atm it's the ONLY way to get the most out of your spiritreaver, but it's understandable how this is something player were forced to resort to, to contain the "limits" this job still has. Wonder what will SE do in the future about ADD, which never completed fade away, but returned in full force since the implementation of DEA. I can see 3 scenarios: 1) SE continues to ignore the fact the majority of the player base make use of ADD 2) SE goes apeshìt for some reason and patch the game somehow so that ADD becomes unefficient (wonder how they could do this without seriously gimping the job though) 3) SE gives in and accept the originality player showed while creating the ADD system New WSs are a welcome thing, especially for VE since damage-wise BoneCrusher and Cannibal Blade are a bit meh inside Abyssea. Plus, having a Crit-WS allows your Automaton and yourself to gain 100% benefit from the same Atma set, for example the typical RR+GH+Apoc. This is often an issue for pet jobs, if you get the best atmas for yourself you won't get the best for your pets and vice-versa. With this new WS PUP won't have this issue anymore when using Valoredge. All we need to do now is keep our fingers crossed for the maneuver to be a good one, altough I doubt it. Wind is free for Valoredge I think? Altough Wind is not exactely what you want to use, but then again it's probably better than Light or Dark (Wind enhances Turbo Charger, no? I.e. more haste, which is not bad I suppose) They really should scrap the maneuver>WS system and give us something else, but realistically we all know this will never happen. They even refuse to acknowledge of AI issues... The potency of the "Automaton: Regain" effect granted by the hand-to-hand weapon "Burattinaios" has been adjusted. i cant imagine they are bumping it up to 20 a tic so it can only be bad news
