Zone jumpers- Spinners LS

Been running a very successful Dyna shell on Sylph with no problems whatsoever. VCDunited. Use the scheduler, work with other shells on scheduling conflicts, etc. However, recently, a modest group of JP's, in an LS called Spinners, has taken it upon themselves to jump zones. They do it intentionally, and not to just us. They have members, with a glass, log into the zone next to the ??? and break. We've been quicker a couple times, but are screwed most times. We're not the only ones either. It seems to me as well as some other dyna shell leaders that they get off more on jacking runs than actually doing the runs. They love to taunt as well. The leader of the ls is Meioh. Is there anything that can be done?

that's understandable. Lame, but understandable. I'm askin for general advice to deal with zone jumpers. Not like I'm accusing someone of stealing an NM or something.
Be a *** yourself and ditch the schedule and do whatever zone you want, and jump to a new one if yours gets taken
If you're not willing to do that then what the hell do you want us to tell you? There's no secret unstealable Dynamis zone we're keeping from you. I would say to schedule a dynamis that you don't actually plan to do, then when the other ls gathers to go there, go to the dynamis that you do want to do. But that's bad advice, it would confuse the other dynamis shells on your server and annoy them. :/ I do hope you get things worked out, it sounds frustrating!
They're Japanese and they've been doing it for years now. They only do Xarcabard and Glacier zones usually. They'll show up whenever and fight for claim. They don't care about schedulers and won't bother trying to work things out with you. As for doing anything, there's nothing you can do about it. The best you can do is get the taunters warned/suspended depending on the number of complaints but what they're doing isn't wrong according to SE's terms. Scheduling runs is just a formality most people use to help keep things smooth for everyone. No where is it written you have to schedule or abide by a schedule.

You say this has been happening for years you say?! Have you ever thought about maybe.. Changing the day in which you do Dynamis? You say this has been happening for years you say?! Have you ever thought about maybe.. Changing the day in which you do Dynamis? The problem with this is they don't go on specific days. They go every 3 days which means they'll eventually hit every day of the week. Not to mention switching your days usually isn't an option depending on the group. Not everyone's schedule is the same. People join groups for specific times/days. Switching that on them after the fact usually kills the group. lol people use dynamis schedulers?

Be a *** though, and jump right back if you can claim. okay seriously you gather together and they *** it up. okay done can't do anything against that. what you can do is being a little more open and maybe do a ks99 run or somewhat else. gosh standing there saying: sry dynamis is cancelled... again please all go home now.
i am not implying that you have no alternatives that you use, but for gods sake if they do that then be faster and do it yourself. maybe do a ls alliance abyssea for people who dont have af3 feet. just saying. it doesn't always have to be dynamis. especially in days like these. |
