Just had a screen error kick me off in the middle of an Abyssea run!

That sux ya, FFXI Crashed when i went to MH, then .... notifying lobby server of current selections. and stuck there...

now im getting error 3101 Transmission error with lobby server
getting the same thing on odin. Goes from notifiying loby server of current selections, to Error code 3113 Protocol time out error
Guess I am gonna play something else. lol
Guess I'll go clean and play Xbox or something.

I couldn't log out of my mule at first. I hit /shutdown in my mog house and everything locked up. I couldn't move and the game wasn't progressing towards the shutdown. I was still sending/receiving info too. I had to terminate it just to close it.
i tried 2 times to get on, and got the same thing as everyone else, so i closed out POL, tried it again, and it worked fine, weird...
I'm presuming this wasn't a scheduled maint or anything cuz I dont recall any notice. Wonder what broked?

First time, got kicked back to Viewer.
Second, got in but the zone (Qufim Island) didn't even load before the game crashed.

I'm in! I went to the toilot then checked my facebook, I feel this is what fixed it, advice you all to do the same
Going to the loo fixes everything.
Restarted the client like others have mentioned and it let me on.

Ifrit was having the same problem few hours a go.
I was logged in for about an hour or so, then got DC'd (possibly because of my internet) and then everytime I tried to log back in again, it came up with various time out messages etc, and the same character logged in etc. When I did manage to get back on again, after 30secs it would just boot me again.
So I gave up.
I've noticed that the servers go a bit mental when a new update is getting ready for release. The amount of R0 on Ifrit in the past week have been terrible, not just for me but a lot of other people too.
Sure hope they fix it soon!

aghhh guess I'm not the only one having the same prob on shiva, friend got in after 30 min, i still haven't....
