You realize that Two decent players can Duo Lord Varney right? Why in gods name you would offer to buy seals that are easily farmed with a good duo/trio is beyond me.

People with gil are most often the most stupid and don't want to do the work involved to get something.

I sure did switch servers.

I don't bother with Drama, its annoying.

I don't have time, I'd rather just buy them.

Why are people from different servers policing forums for other servers, hmm. . .

How sad - I couldn't even get a single valid response.

We're not 'policing forums' when a new thread or a bumped thread happens, it appears on the front page genius.

Chirr Battir (Or whatever the Djinn NM popped with a Vial of Djinn ash is called) is a much easier duo-trio than Lord Varney, and can be done back to back.

BRD/WHM + DD/NIN can take it out incredibly easily, as long as you have 1500 or more HP to survive a luckily powerful Tantrean Storm.

Varney is actually a fairly tough customer in comparison, sometimes it seems his AI Routine is just a little too adept at keeping your shadows off. That said, it's incredibly hard to die if you have all the Merit Abyssites, and a mage with the Atma of the Minikin Monstrosity.

Either way, to make life easier, I suggest if you do take everyone's advice and Duo these instead of waste gil, to use a food that provides a defense bonus. Rabbit Pie makes both fights considerably easier, as Tantrean Storm damage is reduced by having high defense (Tested at least three-dozen times with 100% accuracy, so trust me on that) and for Varney, it can keep his TP moves in the "lolwat" range to avoid situations like Aeroga IV -> Double Atk -> Decollation quick kills.
