On wiki in some trials I read this sentence "Finishing blow may come from any prescribed elemental source in the party, including avatars."
Was it changed so that party members can kill with the elemental dmg and you'll get the point still?

That's what I heard from my LS mate, is that as long as that occurs from a party member (in my case 250 points of water damage) that it'll count for your trial. I've never personally experienced it, but as far as I know, it would be a yes.
I dont think that was an actual change....wasn't it always like that? Either way I can 100% confirm yes that it does still proc your credits. I was duoing some bees for ice with a blm at the hives in Wajaom and he was on -ga3 duty while I on sch, was on sleep-ga/heal/gravi-ga/bind-ga duty.
