New FFXI Wiki design sucks... any alternates?
So the new update to the FFXI wiki is terrible, and a complete pain in the *** to navigate compared to the previous version. So, I was wondering if anyone had any other sites that could be viable as a resource database?

Actually I just changed the skin of the Wiki back to what it was before. It really isn't hard to do, and it makes life a whole lot easier.

No it's terrible, and those trees are the worst quality JPG ever. I'm a digital media major and the site is like... the perfect example of what not to do with a website. It's poison to my eyes and it makes me want to murder babies/small cute animals.

Did the creator of it get hit with a bat or something? What would cause such a drastic change - and for the worse?

Old layout wasn't very shiny, functional but not pleasing or displeasing to the eye. The change I'm sure was meant to make it functional and pleasing.... except they did it wrong, and it's way worse.

yeah you can totally change the config and view of the wiki, but you need an account to do so
i thought we already covered the fact that on nov. 3 ugly-facebook-knockoff-skin is becoming permanent with no way to change to monobook

Change was made to fit more ads into the page. There is like 50% info, 50% ads.
Someone should tell them 2004 wants its ridiculously narrow fixed width page layouts back.

you can easily put all the adds you want without limit screen widht to 800 or 1200...no matter how you see it webdesigner sucked there...
