I don't know about Vent, but you could also try using skype instead.
Lol a LS mate and I just was talking about that.
Our group has been using it since 08. Skype didn't have a feature or two that I like with vent like push to talk key.
Most mics come with an easy to click mute button. Just use that? Also, skype does a very good job of filtering most background noise. The push-to-talk isn't that big of a deal. Oh and skype is free! If I remember correctly, you have to pay for vent servers.
Skype does have an option under its advanced settings to assign a hotkey that automutes the mic. I've never tried it, but I assume its a toggle. Would almost work the same as Vent.
Nice I'll check that out. It was so weird holding my tongue or not farting.

Very true. I spent the last two years renting one. This one above is being run on my LAN so hopefully I can roll that in with my ISP costs. Assuming the quality is good enough.
