Feiyin Specters EP At 85?

topic, going for magian trial

I never saw or heard of a trial specifically requiring fomors/spectres but they may be too weak now at 85.
Robber crabs in Kuftal tunnel still barely con EP but are about 4 lvls higher than those spectres.
You might be better off checking the fomors in WotG or ToAU areas. Wajaom Woodlands, Eldieme Necropolis {S} come first to mind

you can always lvl sync if you are too high. maybe try Xarcabard lvl sync 60 kill skeletons and do FoV while you are at it.

That said, might I recommend Bostaunieux Oubliette instead? Everything but bats and slimes are undead and most of the higher-level stuff is EP at 85, I went there for a hound-specific trial recently.

You can do undead in ice weather pretty easily in Uleguerand Range. There are hounds at night, but they're pretty spread out, and only at night, so I wouldn't recommend them. There's also a few ghosts, which I *think* are up at any time, but again, spread out and not recommended. However, the tunnels you get to through dropping down holes around the zone tend to have skeletons which are pretty easy; this is what I did for Undead in ice weather. I did the first hole you come across J-9, but that was stupid, as there are only 3 skeletons there. I later found that the other holes have more; I forget whether the K-7 or I-5 hole was better. Make sure to grab a Mystic Ice from the Eternal Ice you see in tunnels along the way there; it lets you warp out of the hole by checking a ??? where you fell down. Or just warp out afterwards. Either way. :P

oh? i like ullegrande, just a pain in the *** to get out of sometimes.. i'll give that a shot, killing 30 skeles won't be too bad. i feel bad for people who had tod o these before the patch

Doesn't Upper Delkfutt tower have ice weather? It's been a while

You can do Iceday too, not just weather, but weather = 5 kills, so it is far preferable.

Delkfutt only has Lightning and Light, with Light of course being rare.

It's only faster if you can find a place with frequent weather and a decent amount of those type of mobs near each other.

Something like this I get the feeling you'll end up spending more time waiting for weather and running around then if you just kill some on day. Especially if you can get some help

I had to sync to a 59-61 job to kill ghosts/skeles for this path. Upside to that is you can do all the rest in Uleguerand.

So what are people going to do at 99 for these trials? Resort to sync?

New higher lvl mobs get introduced each update. Then there is MMM. Or doing ones that are DC or higher now. I think an EM to 85 will still be DC at 99 lol. Right now I think it's minimum lvl to get xp is like 23ish lvls under you and is increasing. I'd say by 99 min lvl to get xp would be a lvl 70 or so mob lol

The best place for that is Uleguerand Range. Honestly its one of those ***trials where you need to perservere.

IIRC SE adjusted the /check formula so stuff that was EP at 75 will stay EP even at 99

I had a 150 undead in ice trial for my pet mab staff, I did it in uleguerand range, dropped down a hole and theres WAR type skeles, just had to watch out for bat aggro and theres one snoll down there too.

Was easy for me as SMN, since chaotic strike took off 70%+ off the skeles HP each time lol

There is Ghost/Skeletons in Beaucedine Glacier(S) near Batallia Down(S) entrance. They con EP~DC at lv 85. Almost fulltime Ice weather in that zone, with occasional Gloom(Dark). Goodluck!

Corpselights in Xarcabard (S) are a total joke and the area often gets Ice weather. Just need to make sure you don't blood agro anything, but otherwise, this is a prime spot for undead trials under ice and dark weather conditions. I managed to clear 300 undead under darkness in about 2 game days there.

Uleguerand has 5 minute repops, so I never had an issue with waiting on repops. I got the trial done in an hour or so, so it really wasn't that bad. I was solo, but kills were damn fast since I was on BLU85. Pretty sure Savage Blade -> Goblin Rush tended to take them from 100% to dead. :P
