Odin Kills

Anyone know how to maximize the amount of mobs Odin can kill....I'm fully merited and good gear and the most I've killed is 4 high lvl bats mobs in Abyssea.

I've killed about 6 AVs with one Odin.

Theres a maximum on how many mobs any AoE can hit, Theres your maximum.

It'd be very rare to KO them all, because the chance depletes with each target added to it.

Simple answer: It's random, only based on how many targets you'r using it on.

Complicated Answer:

There is an Absolute cap on how many Targets a Spell/BP Can hit, I think its in the high 30's? or was it the 50's, Either way theres a Cap.

Which each added Target the Accuracy lowers, and continues to lower.

With maximum targets in range, You can (Assumed) KO Every target, However it would be a low low low low low chance.

That being said, 5/6 Mobs is a sweet spot, usually K.O'ing the majority of them, so i'd keep it at that.

Their maybe a acc check but try it in real time get a couple of blm friends and check it. I dont know if the check is applied to AF but SMN nms in dyna are what? like 85-90 and their AF wipes everyone. But so does ninja MG.

Also with the new trials u can now stack Avatar ACC so if their is a cap you can lower the miss rate. Also the pMAB is on the staff.

Well... as far as I have understood it, Odin's acc is based on MP and Summoning skill. Taru have the unfair advantage of uber MP and with capped Summoning skill plus gear buffs, 13 bat kills might be possible with the right combination of gear/merits and being a taru. My personal highest as Elvaan is 4/5.

Off topic though, I hope SE makes it so SMN can use Cataclysm /rdm. It is stupid that because our subjob doesnt have natural staff skill, that we can't use the damn WS.
