I couldn't think of a good name for my character. I had Hypnotizd Cat for beta, but wanted something a little more original. Ended up naming myself Hypnotizd Furball :D Don't think I'll make any alts/mules though.

I'm only rank 12, spent most of my time exploring lol. Took a few screenies and posted them here, should be appearing shortly in fact. As for going from Gridania to Ul'Dah, just take the path south lol, as long as you stick to the path I don't think there's anything that can agro?
From Gridania to Ul'Dah there are ants that aggro you close to the road at one point, but mostly aggro free.
Yeah but once you get to Thanalan you have much more room to avoid things. Unlike this tunnel I'm trying to get through now... Three toads and three bats... There was another one like this earlier I tried to get through, after a few attempts my hermes sandles got me through, then there were about 10 bombs scattered about the other end of it ; ;
Tonight I've been killed by pretty much everything, I've been sneezed on, snorted on, shat on, lashed, spined (not sure what that is exactly, but it happened a lot) and killed by sticky tongues... Can't wait to hit level 50 and reap my revenge.

worst part about it... to the best of my knowledge there's no sneak, invis, or reraise. just the "Back to the Old Drawing Board" ability everyone gets :(
Eh, physical level doesn't mean much, pretty much everything that'll agro will one shot you regardless lol. I've got 938HP, and the only thing that hasn't one shotted me was a bat, and his buddies finished me off quick enough.
I've been taking 4k+ damage all night, last night I attacked something, blocked his attack on my shield and still took 6k lol

Well, yeah, but I think the game has pretty high scaling. Like, I have 900HP and I'm only physical level 17, and max is I think 50? The damage you take seems to go down fairly fast as you rise in level too, my friend said he got hit by something for 10k in Coerthas, the highest anything has hit me in this zone (and I've been hit by most things <_<) was still under 5k. Will be interesting to see just what level you have to be before we can solo some of this stuff.

I spend my time destroying around town... but then as i said...i'll take 5 steps further and suddenly its a bloodbath
