How to block controller input?

I'm not sure if its possible to do but I'm just asking.

I want to bazaar in ffxi while i play another game. But when i use the controller to play that game it moves my character and menus in ffxi which isn't good!

Anyone know how to block controller input in ffxi?

You can turn the controller off in the FFXI Config, that is really your only choice before you start playing another game with it. (The game wasn't really designed for another game to be played alongside it.)

I've played on the pc, used the controller (with ffxi settings onry no 3rd party windower) and like I said if your controller is still controlling your game when you lose focus, you have some *** up ***. if your other game is low-spec I have a solution for you but it's a long way around it.

actually on second thought, the idea I had may not work if ffxi is accepting inputs when not in focus, i'd say remove your controller's drivers and reinstall them because something is screwy, or just may be ffxi.
