FFXI Lag On Windows Vista Help!! Pweese!!

Hi all, I've had this on going problem with FFXI teleports / crags / ruins / Avatar BP's.

Please can you help me fix this? My computer specs are:

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU - T6400 @ 2.00GHz - 4GB - 32-bit Operating System - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670.

I had a bad lag today in Dynamis i dont know if its just something with the game or what. So I cant really help :( but i would like to know also.

have you tried posting a player warning about your computer?

What kind of lag are you getting?

what's your internet connection? and why are you using a 32 bit os on a dual core cpu? also why vista? why? upgrade foo.

Like my computer freezes when I use teleports and go next to a crag / maw.....

I lowered my resolution on ffxi windower config, but its still laggy, (with the lowest but decent settings which is 1024/1024)

Upgrade to windows 7?

I may be wrong because I don't feel like doing the research but iirc using a 32 bit os on a dual core system basically kills half your speed, so running a windower and xi will be very very laggy, especially on zoning. vista sucks marbles, upgrade to 7, linux hell downgrade to 64 bit xp if need be. hopefully one of the other nerds in here who has more free time can figure out if my assumption is correct or not. Or i'll ask somebody on tuesday but until then idk.
