Not compatable with my version of windows?
uhh, what? keeps telling me this, and won't let me run it... how do i fix this? i'm too braindead at the moment to think of anything

I installed the EU ISO to my Windows 7 64-bit laptop this morning without a problem.

My desktops are both running 64-bit Windows 7 so I'll let you know how it goes.
I had the same problem with the beta on windows 7 64 bit.
I have 4 displays on my home computer and it was tring to send it to a display on older video card.
Also if you are using a PS3 controller using motionjoy as the driver ffxiv will not work in windows 7 test mode.

actually im in test mode, and ive been meaning to turn it off... tho i can't remember how XD

I just installed onto my 64bit - 7 desktop and so far it seems to be working allright. When do you get the error?

just got it earlier today. i downloaded the patch from someone here on the website, so i didn't have to wait 4 hours. could that be it?

Oh I see. I wouldn't be there yet. My download speed on the update is being awfully jumpy, though. That disappoints me.

I meant the specs of your machine.
Though with that error I'm kind of at a loss until I can try to replicate it.

I'd look in the disks and manually check for a 64-bit installation.

ill check the instructions..only thing i can think of, is the patch i downloaded? tho i dunno why hat would affect anything... bah, i got up at 10am to buy this too D:
i just saw the back of the box, says... 64bit OS will run in WOW64 (windows on Windows64) mode... i have no idea what the hell that is, but it might be why it's not running

It should do it by default, but maybe there's a glitch somewhere. I'm researching WoW64 right now.

c:\program files(x86)\Squareenix to everyone full control. If it's patch issue. run as admin sometime is stupid.
