Capcom announced new devil may cry game for TGS. Completely different Dante and very different style of music. WHAT The hell was Hideki and Capcom thinking about outsourcing the game to Ninja Theory.

Probably when his demonic power starts to develop.. my guess is after his mother died he was a no good punk, and lived in the street.

It would make sense. I hope they keep the testicle shattering difficulty though, that was one of my favourite things in the DMC series.

The CGI looked cool as per normal for Capcom lol.

No, this is a full reboot of the series, also Dante always had white hair, Sparda had white hair in his human form also.
I'm a little dissapointed because they are pretty much telling you to forget everything that has happened so far, I hate the new design he looks like he was taken out of that twilight movie.
Ninja Theory isn't that great of a developer either, they just made to meh to ok games and they think they are on their high horse, I read rumors long ago about Capcom about handing the franchise to them, feared the worst and today it came true.
Capcom seems to think the reason of their fail was the battle system but actually it's one of the most advanced of hack n slash I played, and the real reason a lot of people was disapointed was because they expected the new one would follow up the third entry, and were actually hyped because it would supposedly give a clear explanation of the link btw Vergil and Nero which they din't and fans were eagerly awaiting for the sequel and they come up with this crap and awful Dante that it's more of a goth/punk/pothead than the badass most people liked.
I will keep looking out for it, but my expectations are already bellow ground.

This seems like a remake of 3,as you can see the tower at the last scene in the background. But it looks so slow and ugh.

The series has been flawed since the second entry. 2, well, 2 was crap. 3 gave us that stupid kid Dante. Even if the gameplay was awesome, there's no excuse. 4 actually gave us the perfect image of Dante, but you can only play him for half the game and the main focus is on Nero.
Capcom seems to have made it their goal to horribly distort all of their IPs, just look at Resident Evil. And why license their series to a third party, especially with the tragedy that is Metroid: Other M still fresh in our minds?
