The armor is awesome but I worry that people won't salvage anymore which pretty much kills the mythic weapons. Unless some salvage gear is still worth it?

Speaking of not being too bright; what circumstance occurred that resulted in said theft of account?
Did you visit URLs sent to you in-game by names that looked like Helen Keller typed them?
I'm certainly not a genius but these are the first things I think to ask when I see a case of theft as in your case. Unfortunately, 90% of the time, one of those two is the root of the issue and in every case; they do not have a "game token".

Edit: lulz-worthy; I forgot the first reason I think that accounts get stolen is that they shared the password/account with someone or a friend.

Two daggers for dancer
and 3 staves for my mage jobs
and in my opinion 20% cure potency on my whm staff, is complete win. (lets consider that my staff is 17% now. The torque is 3% cure potency, people pay 2.5 mil gil for 3%. Or I can kill 175 elementals for 3%.)

Also thinking back to Relics and salvage, which were not only time consuming but a gil sink in the end to be repped by this.
I sense alot of Umad and butturt people out there are going to QQ over the frickin awesome win of new gear.
