FFXIV Question To Other Beta Members

so i try to get on beta site today and it says my account isn't registered to beta, i then check my square enix account thing and it says my ffxiv beta account was canceled on august 31.

i'm just wondering, did they do this to ALL beta members so everyone would have to get their new reg key? i heard some people say anyone who used a key to get into beta (like from XIII) were canceled but no one else ... but i was in alpha from an application x.x just thought it seemed weird to block our access to the site just to have us re-apply to get in after telling us we had a free ride to all tests.

SO i guess my main question is, are other people that got into beta via app, blocked out of site?

There was a game destroying bug earlier this morning. The Beta has been postponed, not likely for more than a week, but we'll see.

Likely all issued codes are void until they can fix the problem and get the game back up, at which point the application process will begin once more.
