Has anyone gotten this message? I unhooked my PC, moved it 3 feet, and re-hooked it back up and now I get this everytime I try to log in. All it tells me is "POL-5436 error: An unexpected error occured." I have nothing else to go on at all... even the one post I found from seatching google was never answered. Something about Square Enix Account Certification Error.

cording to playonline, it's at 23:50 pdt... that's 2:50am my time... it's 1:38am here now... no maintenance? unless I got my timezone translation wrong lol
I got the same prior to the start of maint, but I suspect it has to do with it. I'm sure, after tomorrows maint., when you log back in and have to change up your whole account on the Square Enix Account thing, it will all resolve.

aaah ok, will wait n see. I must have gotten my timezone differences mixed up or something. Least im not the only one getting this then.

The maintence starts at 21:00. But it wont kick you off ffxi until 24:00 but they are messing with all the non-ig servers right now which will most likely prevent you from logging in and according to the /servmes migth mess up billing stuff

well ffxi isn't affected til 0:00 PST. The system message in the game is kind of dumb btw... it said nothing about ffxi being unavailable. makes it sound like a registration maint..

if you're referring to pop timers, i don't think so. servers are technically still up... it's just playonline that is down, therefore you can't be logged in...

They always seem to do this just when everybody is about to log on, I needed to merit some before update ><

I said the same thing, First time EVER the JP get maintenance.... Then I realized.... in 24hrs all the HNM's are theirs!
