Does Ffxi Seem.. Buggy?

I don't really know how else to put it other then buggy, So I'll explain whats going on. I've talked to a few friends/random people and they've been having the same things.

-Pets names arn't showing up. Be it bst, smn, pup or even npc.
-Pets health bars arn't showing up when targetted. I don't know about if you summoned it, becasue I havn';t played with bst or smn recently.
-The good ol elvaan ranger with a bow one, but thats not a big one.


Those are all I'm thinking of right now, but its 3:30am, so it might just me be forgetting. Anyway.. Has anyone else been having these things?

Yah, I thought it was some kind of setting I toggled on or some new release feature I forgot to read. But most all NPC pets (like escort NPCs, adventuring fellows, etc.) don't show their names anymore.

Yeah sometimes pets names don't show up they'll probably patch it up soon.

I'm more annoyed at how suddenly everytime i zone i sorta freeze for a few seconds after i zone while its loading stuff up, anyone else getting that? i never had that happen until recently :/

I've had this problem with my NPC on a few occasions. Could only target her to Cure, when normally I can also Haste. Logging off and coming back sometimes fixed it, but not every time. I've also had times where I couldn't see pets' HP bars, and could only see the names when they were targeted.

Idk. I've been having annoying lag in CS's. Like how I just did bst quest finally(waited a month XD) and it like.. lagged out for 5mins each time the chocobo moved. Was kinda annoying...

I don't see pet names either. I figured it was something on my end though. No lag though, just no names for pets/NPC's

Does FFXI seem buggy?
Is the ocean wet?

Sometimes players/npc body parts appear missing. For example, yesterday I saw the bearded hume characters head, but he had no body, arms, hands, feet, but just had trousers on, everything else was invisible.

It's even shown me to have no head at all :/

Yeah most of the time my pets have no name or health bar visible. While doing bees for my axe the other day I could not find my little rabbit at all, he was hiding in the foliage, little *** was trying to eat plants instead of mauling bees like I told him to.

I've been getting strange graphical glitches while playing as well. At fist I thought it was just something very close to my camera flashing in front of it, but it started happening on a semi-regular basis. It's like a long, oddly shaped bar of color that flashes on my screen for half a second.

It may have just been me but there was a time were I died an lost Merit points not xp. I've only had it happen once I don't know if anyone else has noticed it.
