Reply To "JP Only" Thread

I clicked on the thread from the main page about an hour ago, and read through the information from the link Jaerik posted. I then spent time writing a fairly lengthy, very positive, grateful and insightful reply. Clicked "submit" and got a error message stating the thread was locked, and I could not retrieve the content of my post.

Not gonna try to recreate the post; it was too lengthy for that.

Long story short -- thanks for posting that link Jaerik.

Please don't lock threads. Not everyone trying to post wants to make every thread a flame war.

This is going to get nuked pretty fast. The mod's lock threads for a reason.

YOU might not be trying to start a flame war but others will.

I typed a long reply only to get the locked topic as well. This isn't the first thread like this nor will it be the last.

Not trying to be rude but trust me you are going to attract trolls and flamers with the reply after the original topic.
